The $1.4 million transformation of Chelsea’s Bicentennial Park has finally taken shape following significant delays due to wet weather. Kingston council and the State Government contributed funds towards the redevelopment which includes a new youth plaza with a multi-court area for soccer and basketball, DJ table and timber climbing poles. Park seating and shelters are other additions, but the centrepiece of the youth precinct is the new skate park. Photo by Cameron Howe.
